Description
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project.
- Implement cost control, reporting, and financial management processes in coordination with Estimating and Accounting, including monthly projections and contract oversight.
- Establish and enforce the project safety program in partnership with corporate safety leadership, conducting regular audits and promoting a strong safety culture on site.
- Develop, maintain, and actively manage the project schedule-overseeing critical path milestones to ensure timely completion.
- Oversee project documentation, subcontractor prequalification, contract execution, and quality control measures to ensure compliance and performance standards are met.
- Lead project meetings, mentor team members, and manage project closeout activities, including final documentation, warranties, and lessons learned.
Profile
The Project Manager will have:
- Bachelors in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Knowledge of construction, design, finance and management plus thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, standards and procedures required.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, tact and diplomacy essential.
- Previous GC or CM experience
