Description
The Assistant Project Manager - K-12, Interiors - Capitol Hill, DC will be responsible for:
- Supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical work, ensuring adherence to timelines, specifications, and quality standards.
- Managing electrical contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with project plans and safety regulations.
- Tracking electrical costs, assisting in budget management, and preparing cost estimates to maintain budget integrity.
- Helping develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of electrical tasks.
- Ensuring all electrical work meets codes, standards, and project specifications, performing quality checks as needed.
- Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, resolving issues, and ensuring resource availability.
- Maintaining records of RFIs, change orders, submittals, and daily reports
- Visiting sites to monitor electrical work, troubleshooting issues, and supporting on-site teams.
- Updating clients and stakeholders on electrical progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
Profile
The Assistant Project Manager - K-12, Interiors - Capitol Hill, DC will have:
- 1-3 years of experience in construction.
- Experience with base building projects.
- Preferred background in multifamily construction.
- Degree in a construction-related discipline.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization and time management abilities.
