Senior Project Manager - Large Manufacturing Construction

Description

  • Lead large manufacturing projects from kickoff through turnover, with full ownership of cost, schedule, and quality
  • Oversee field operations and collaborate closely with Superintendents on execution strategy
  • Drive design‑build coordination, ensuring seamless alignment between design intent and constructibility
  • Manage complex MEP, process utility, equipment integration, and infrastructure scopes
  • Run OAC meetings, maintain strong communication, and build trust with clients and design partners
  • Oversee subcontractor buyout, contracting, performance, and coordination
  • Lead forecasting, cost controls, change management, and progress tracking
  • Ensure safety, quality, and compliance across highly technical manufacturing environments
  • Develop team members through mentorship, leadership, and consistent communication
  • Partner with executive leadership on risk management, staffing, and project strategy

Profile

  • 8-12+ years of project management experience with a general contractor
  • Proven track record managing large ground‑up manufacturing, industrial, advanced technology, or life sciences projects
  • Strong familiarity with MEP systems, process utilities, equipment integration, and technical infrastructure
  • Experience leading design‑build delivery (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in fast‑paced, complex environments
  • Proficiency in construction technology tools (Procore, Bluebeam, scheduling platforms)
  • Strong planning, forecasting, documentation, and problem‑solving abilities
  • A leadership style built on ownership, drive, collaboration, and accountability

Job Requirements:

8-12+ years of project management experience with a general contractor
