Description
- Preconstruction & Estimating: Prepare detailed cost estimates, conceptual budgets, and bid proposals for commercial construction projects.
- Quantity Takeoffs: Perform accurate material and labor quantity takeoffs from architectural and engineering drawings.
- Bid Coordination: Solicit, review, and analyze subcontractor and supplier bids for completeness and competitiveness.
- Cost Analysis: Develop cost comparisons and value engineering options to optimize project budgets.
- Scope Review: Ensure complete understanding of project scope, specifications, and contract documents.
- Client & Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with owners, architects, engineers, and internal teams to refine estimates and project approaches.
- Market & Cost Research: Stay up to date on market trends, material costs, labor rates, and subcontractor availability.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and ensure pricing accounts for project complexities.
- Proposal Preparation: Assist in developing bid presentations, RFP responses, and other client deliverables.
Profile
- 2+ years estimating/preconstruction experience, preferably with interiors experience
- Previous commercial, public/municipal project experience preferred
- 4 year Bachelors degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field of study desired
- Must have an outstanding business acumen and professional demeanor to manage client relationships
- Software proficiency with the following preferred but not required: REVIT, 3D Models, AutoDesk, Procore, Onscreen Takeoff

- Base salary 90-135K contingent on experience
