Account Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our Flexible Packaging team. This role is responsible for managing key customer accounts, developing strong relationships, and driving revenue growth by offering customized flexible packaging solutions. The ideal candidate will have a background in packaging sales, strong negotiation skills, and a customer-focused approach.
Client Details
Privately-owned leader in flexible packaging. Provider of high-quality industrial and consumer packaging products, including: BOPP bags, FIBC's, pouches, food service items, films and roll stock, multiwall paper bags, wet/dry filters, stretch film, and grinding media, among others.
Description
- Sales & Business Development: Identify, target, and acquire new customers in need of corrugated packaging solutions.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to provide tailored packaging solutions.
- Technical Expertise: Understand the features, benefits, and applications of packaging to effectively advise clients.
- Quoting & Pricing: Prepare sales quotes, negotiate pricing, and finalize contracts in collaboration with the internal team.
- Collaboration: Work closely with design, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Sales Reporting: Track sales activities, generate reports, and provide forecasts to management.
Profile
- 3+ years proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in flexible packaging or relate products.
- Strong understanding of packaging manufacturing and customization options.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
- Located in Atlanta, in office Monday-Thursday, work remote on Friday
