Description

The key responsibilities of the Quality Engineer are:

  • Review and interpret design plans, process documents, and test procedures to ensure quality objectives.
  • Support production teams with inspection process expertise and quality analysis.
  • Identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain and update Quality Management System (QMS) documentation and procedures.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends and reduce recurring defects.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO9000/AS9100, NADCAP, and federal/state/industry regulations.
  • Assist with calibration, measurement system analysis (MSA), and gage R&R studies.

Profile

The successful Quality Engineer candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 5 + years' experience in quality engineering, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing.
  • Hands-on internal auditing experience with ISO9000/AS9100 and NADCAP.
  • Familiarity with GE Aviation and/or Pratt & Whitney quality standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with production workflows.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
