AVP - Infrastructure Engineer (Network & Data Center)

Client Details

The client is a leading Financial Services Firm located in Iselin, New Jersey.

This is a hybrid position, and will be required to be on site at least twice a week.

Description

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise, data center, and cloud network architecture to ensure optimal performance.

• Monitor network alerts and perform day-to-day operational tasks, including troubleshooting connectivity issues.

• Adhere to strict change management processes for deploying firewall rule changes, firmware upgrades, and other network maintenance activities.

• Act as the primary contact for network incidents, collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors for diagnostics and resolution.

• Develop and maintain operational documentation, including runbooks, network diagrams, and configuration records for the network infrastructure.

Profile

• Possesses strong technical problem-solving skills, particularly in high-pressure scenarios, with a focus on network troubleshooting.

• Has extensive experience with enterprise networking technologies, including routing protocols, firewalls, and cloud integrations (AWS, Azure).

• Demonstrates expertise in managing and optimizing data center infrastructure, particularly with Cisco ACI and spine-leaf architectures.

• Thrives in a collaborative environment, effectively working with cross-functional teams and external vendors to achieve operational goals.

• Is proficient in creating and maintaining technical documentation, including network diagrams, runbooks, and configuration records.

Job Offer

The compensation for this role ranges from $135,000 to $150,000, depending on experience, with additional performance-based bonuses offered as part of the overall package.
