Temp - Credit Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting
Will be responsible for managing enterprise credit risk across commercial and investment banking activities. Establishes risk appetite and executes portfolio stress-testing, concentration risk management, identification of emerging risks, and comprehensive industry/sector credit analyses. The team supports proactive risk monitoring through various market indicators to inform credit risk management decisions. Client Details

Description
This role supports risk management efforts within wholesale lending portfolios. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting proactive monitoring of obligors and sectors, leveraging various market indicators to support credit decision-making for a diverse client portfolio.
- Tracking leading market indicators such as credit default swaps (CDS) and equity pricing, along with other quantitative metrics that inform rating actions or prompt further analysis.
- Applying sound credit judgment and enhancing risk monitoring through collaboration across multiple business lines and credit teams.
- Preparing and updating monthly reports that identify portfolio trends and highlight emerging risks for leadership discussions.
- Analyzing market and vendor data, ensuring accuracy and escalating discrepancies as necessary.
- Contributing to the design, development, and execution of key credit risk management portfolio reporting.
- Maintaining data linkages to external market sources, identifying opportunities for automation and process improvements.
- Supporting oversight and documentation of key processes and controls to strengthen portfolio credit risk management.
Profile
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred; advanced degree (MBA) or CFA designation is a plus.
- At least 7 years of progressive experience in the financial services industry, with preference for a background in credit risk management.
- Strong understanding of credit risk concepts, including Probability of Default and Loss Given Default.
- Familiarity with credit risk analytics platforms such as Moody's Analytics and Credit Benchmark.
- Proficiency in handling complex datasets and quantitative analysis.
- Experience with tools such as Excel, Access, SQL, Tableau, and Bloomberg.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrating the ability to process and interpret complex information.
Job Offer
$90 - $105 per hour, with OT eligibility. Long tem contract.
