Quality Engineer- respiratory protection- Methuen, Ma
As the Quality Engineer you will conduct audits, resolve customer complaints, and manage ISO 9001 compliance to ensure quality standards are met. Track and improve yield, DPPM, and scrap while overseeing test equipment and implementing lean processes to drive continuous improvement.
Client Details
A British-based, publicly traded manufacturer specializes in advanced respiratory protection systems for military, law enforcement, and fire personnel. It also produces ballistic and bump protection helmets through a dedicated division and is expanding operations in Cleveland, OH, with a presence in Salem, NH.
Description
- Perform audits and address customer concerns to ensure timely resolution and satisfaction.
- Oversee and maintain ISO 9001 compliance to uphold quality management standards.
- Monitor and enhance key metrics such as yield, DPPM, and scrap to drive process improvements.
- Manage test equipment and introduce lean methodologies to optimize efficiency.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Practical knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) and process improvement methodologies.
- U.S. citizenship preferred; permanent residents will also be considered.
