Automation Manufacturing Engineer
You will design maintenance plans and continous imporovmenet efforts to sustain automated system through productiojn life.

Our Client is a privately held company specializing in custom injection molding services. With 2 facilities in Massachusetts, the company offers a range of services, including thermoplastic and liquid silicone rubber (LSR) molding, design for manufacturability, prototyping, mold making, and value-added operations such as pad printing, ultrasonic welding, bonding, and testing
Description
- Develop and implement automation solutions to improve manufacturing processes.
- Design, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, robotics, and automated control systems.
- Conduct system integration, testing, and validation of automation equipment.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to enhance system performance.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction through automation.
- Ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations in automation projects.
- Provide technical support, training, and documentation for automation systems.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve manufacturing efficiency.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering (or related field).
- Experience with PLC programming, HMI development, and industrial robotics.
- Strong knowledge of automation software, control systems, and sensors.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes and automation equipment.
- Proficiency in CAD software for system design and layout.
- Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing solutions.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and industrial networking.
