Description
- Make sure that all construction activities are performed in a timely and cost-efficient basis to effectively meet all scheduled due dates and job estimates regarding materials and labor.
- Coordinate all job-related activities to maintain a safe and productive environment for all on-site personnel.
- Maintain tight controls on all labor and material needs to ensure operational efficiencies and overall budgetary controls.
- Coordinate project turn over meeting with estimating, PM/Estimator and checklist signoff.
- Produce a comprehensive project schedule including revisions. Provide weekly status reports; and be prepared to discuss if on schedule or behind. If behind schedule, have a plan to mitigate.
- Process submittals to meet DB standards / Owner contract requirements including sign off by DB PM and approved by Architect, Engineer or Owner prior to procurement or performance of the work.
- Responsible for the highest level of quality of construction at all times.
- Ensure all projects are performed in a quality manner as per the drawings, specifications, addendums and scope of work.
Profile
- Minimum of 2-3 years of Project Management experience.
- Preference for bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management.
- Experience working in the fast-paced, industry-relevant field of construction management as a project manager for two plus years.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal). Able to interact with all levels being served. Represent the company in a professional, credible manner in speech, written communications and appearance.
- Proactive self-starter with the ability to multitask.
- Work effectively with others in a fast-paced, teamwork environment to assist in the development of business goals and their achievement. Also, able to work independently and productively with minimal supervision.
