Electrical Design Engineer - Manufacturing - Swanzey, NH
My client is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design and develop electrical controls for production assembly equipment. This role involves creating schematics, programming PLCs, and integrating advanced systems to optimize manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficiency, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Description
The Electrical Design Engineer will:
- Design and develop electrical schematics for production assembly equipment.
- Create PLC programs and Human Machine Interface (HMI) screens for automated systems.
- Integrate vision systems, test equipment, and robotics with assembly equipment.
- Design pneumatic control systems for production assembly equipment.
- Process engineering change orders and maintain accurate documentation.
- Assemble prototype equipment and troubleshoot/debug production systems.
- Provide technical support to production departments and other facilities.
- Select and specify mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components for equipment.
Profile
A successful Electrical Design Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design and automation systems.
- Proficiency in PLC programming and HMI development.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience with pneumatic systems and integration of robotics preferred.
