Description

The Project Executive/Senior Project Manager - Schools/Federal - DC will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing all facets of large-scale K-12 & commercial construction projects $30M - $150M+
  • Developing and reviewing project plans & schedules to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Effectively communicating project details and updates
  • Working in collaboration with estimators/preconstruction
  • Establishing and maintaining working relationships with project team, internal staff, contractors, suppliers, and vendors
  • Identifying and developing relationships with potential clients
  • Managing change order process
  • Delegating tasks and responsibilities to subordinate Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Subcontractors
  • Managing/mentoring more junior staff members

Profile

The Project Executive/Senior Project Manager - Schools/Federal - DC will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years K-12 experience with a commercial general contractor
  • Project sizes $30M - $150M+
  • Demonstrated history of managing multiple projects simultaneously L
  • Experience leading project teams of 5+ people
  • RFP response process supported by Marketing
  • Bid and GMP development supported by Precon
  • Contract Negotiation experience
  • Ability to build & maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Market condition knowledge
