Description
The Director of Operations will report directly into the Business Manager and be responsible for:
- Lead and manage all plant operations including production, planning, quality, maintenance, and logistics.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Supply Chain, and Sales to align operations with business goals.
- Forecast resource requirements and manage capital and operational budgets.
- Coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams and a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Analyze key performance metrics and provide actionable insights to executive leadership.

Profile
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Master's preferred).
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience, preferably in the precision machinery or manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of operational excellence and managing large-scale teams.
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement frameworks.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
