Technical Marketing Manager / Product Manager - Industrial

Looking for a dedicated Technical Marketing Manager/Product Manager to join a world class industrial / chemical engineering company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial/manufacturing marketing, product management, and an understanding of the technical aspects of the industry. They will have prior people leadership experience and be able to commute to Manassas VA on a hybrid basis.

Description

• Develop and implement comprehensive product marketing strategies.
• Lead a team in product, content, technical writing and other key aspects of the marketing function.
• You will work in a small company wearing a lot of hats.
• Oversee all aspects of product management, from conception to launch.
• Pro-actively manage product lifecycle, roadmap, new phase initiatives.
• Collaborate with the R&D and sales teams to optimize product offerings.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Manage product line life cycle and make decisions on product development and pricing.
• Develop and manage product forecasts.
• Provide technical support to the sales team.
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

Profile

A successful 'Technical Marketing Manager / Product Manager' should have:

• A degree in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, other engineering or marketing or a related field.
• Experience in chemical, semiconductor, electronics markets a huge plus.
• Proficiency in technical product management within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
• Prior managerial experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A customer-focused mindset and excellent problem-solving abilities.ch
