Accounts Payable Specialist
Our client, a manufacturing company based in Fremont, OH, is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist. This is a FTE role, and the successful candidate will have a willingness to assist in Accounts Payable.
Client Details
Blade manufacturing company based in Fremont, OH. This role is 5 days per week in office, and offers a chance to grow in a small accounting team.
Description
This role will involve:
• Responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all vendors/suppliers in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
• Receive packing slips and match to receiving log
• Match invoices and enter into system
• Add and update vendor information
• Print checks and obtain proper signatures before mailing
• General Ledger reconciliations
• Prepare month end journal entries
• Generate month end reports
• Process expense reports
• Calculate Use Tax and remit to proper taxing authority
• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computer and posting and recording accounts payable data
• Verify discrepancies and resolve issues
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
• Must effectively communicate both oral and written communications in a professional manner.
• Must have good organizational and planning skills.
• Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
