As the 2nd Shift Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing production line operations, ensuring schedules are met, and driving continuous improvement through techniques like Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. Description

The key responsibilities for this role include:

• Monitoring and Optimizing Performance: Overseeing the production line to ensure it runs smoothly, addressing process problems, and ensuring schedules are met while minimizing interruptions.

• Team Leadership and Coordination: Leading production teams, setting objectives, promoting cross-training, and managing performance to achieve production goals.

• Problem Solving and Support: Acting as a technical resource to resolve minor production or equipment issues and ensuring proper utilization of resources, including manpower and equipment.

• Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment for production staff.

• Focused Improvement Initiatives: Leading teams in driving focused improvement projects to enhance quality, service, safety, and cost-effectiveness across operations.

Profile

A successful Production Supervisor should have:

• Proven experience in the electronics manufacturing industry
• Deep knowledge of production leadership
• Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
• Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
• Experience in reporting on key production metrics
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills
