The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for:
- Oversee all aspects of on-site construction operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
- Enforce and monitor safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment for all team members and stakeholders.
- Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans to guide daily construction activities.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain open communication with project managers, owners, and architects to address and resolve any issues or changes.
- Prepare and maintain accurate daily reports, schedules, and documentation related to project progress.
- Lead, mentor, and support field teams to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure the use of construction management software, such as Procore and Bluebeam, for effective project tracking and coordination.
- Monitor and manage material and equipment deliveries to prevent delays and maintain project momentum.
Profile
The right Construction Superintendent will have:
- Proven experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects, with a preference for site work or ground-up experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage subcontractors and field teams effectively.
- Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Sage Timberline.
- A team-oriented mindset and commitment to delivering excellence on every project.
