Construction Estimator

We're seeking a detail-oriented and driven Estimator to join our growing preconstruction team. In this role, you will play a key part in the success of our projects by preparing accurate cost estimates and collaborating closely with internal teams.

Family led general contractor, design-build and construction management firm that is focused on safety and has a near century long reputation for meticulous delivery and quality.

Description

• Analyze labor, material, and time requirements to compute project costs

• Review proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents

• Identify and resolve discrepancies through detailed analysis

• Prepare and present clear, organized cost estimates

• Develop conceptual, schematic, and design development budgets

• Manage detailed quantity take-offs and apply accurate unit pricing

• Review plans for consistency and accuracy

• Collaborate with team members to support successful bids

• Prepare special reports and summarize cost data and trends

• Grow into a leadership role within the estimating team

Profile

• 5+ years of estimating experience, preferably at a commercial GC

• Experience bidding valued at $5 million or more
• A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field
• OSHA certification preferred
