Aerospace - Program Manager - Durham, NH
This Program Manager position oversees programs from initial proposal through planning, production, delivery, and final closeout. The role is responsible for ensuring programs meet customer expectations while maintaining strict adherence to cost, schedule, quality, and performance requirements. In this position, the Program Manager drives cross‑functional collaboration, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives to support successful execution.

Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead assigned programs across their complete lifecycle, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, and quality goals are consistently achieved.
- Develop and maintain detailed program plans, budgets, forecasts, milestones, and performance dashboards.
- Coordinate cross‑functional program activities across engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and finance.
- Serve as the primary customer-facing liaison, conducting program reviews and managing all communications.
- Support contract negotiations, proposals, ROMs, pricing inputs, and customer-driven changes.
- Identify and manage program risks, opportunities, and compliance with internal and contractual requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement and root cause analysis, supporting readiness for production transitions.
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
- 3-5+ years of program/project management experience within aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or other high‑reliability environments.
- Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, contract management, and program performance metrics.
- Skilled at leading cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
- Preferred: PMP certification, earned value management experience, configuration management knowledge, or exposure to ISO/AS quality systems; subsea or defense industry experience a plus.
