Description

In this role, the Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for:

• Program complex multi axis CNC parts using hyperMILL (or similar software)
• Develop and optimize machining processes for high-precision components
• Design custom fixtures for machining and inspection
• Lead first article prove-outs and refine setups for consistency
• Implement automation and lights-out machining strategies
• Use probing and CMM data to ensure part accuracy and make process adjustments
• Collaborate with quality and shop floor teams to troubleshoot and improve processes
• Create clear setup documentation in ProShop ERP
• Drive continuous improvements in tooling, cycle time, and process reliability

Profile

A successful Manufacturing Engineer should have:

• 10-15 years of CNC programming and machining experience (7-10 with a degree)
• Proficient in multi-axis programming, preferably with hyperMILL
• Skilled in complex part machining, fixture design, and process automation
• Experienced with probing, CMM data interpretation, and high-performance materials
• Strong problem solving skills and a collaborative, hands on approach
