Project Manager - Ground Up
This Senior Project Manager role offers the opportunity to oversee high-profile ground-up construction projects throughout Brooklyn, leading teams from preconstruction through completion. You'll be the primary point of contact for clients, responsible for schedule, budget, contracts, and overall project performance, with autonomy and executive visibility.

The firm is known for its hands-on executive leadership, commitment to quality, and strong relationships with developers, architects, and local agencies. They offer a stable pipeline of negotiated work and empower their senior PMs to lead with confidence.
Description
Oversee all phases of ground-up construction projects, from precon through closeout
Lead internal teams and external partners, including architects, consultants, and subcontractors
Maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and quality standards
Handle contract administration, change orders, and risk management
Serve as the face of the project to the client and all major stakeholders
Conduct regular site visits and lead project meetings
Report directly to company leadership and mentor junior team members
Profile
10+ years of experience in project management with a focus on ground-up commercial or multifamily construction
Demonstrated ability to manage complex urban job sites and large teams
Deep understanding of NYC permitting, zoning, inspections, and DOB regulations
Proficient in construction platforms like Procore, MS Project, and Bluebeam
Strong financial acumen and experience with cost tracking, buyouts, and contract negotiation
Excellent communicator with leadership presence and a problem-solving mindset
Prior experience in Brooklyn or borough-based construction preferred
