Project Engineer - Industrial Manufacturing - Newington, NH
My client is looking for a Project Engineer to join their team and work on developing and designing solutions for their customers. You will work on both new designs and reconfiguring existing product designs. Some of your responsibilities will also include creating procedures, test standards and creating fixtures to help facilitate manufacturing and tests.

Description
The responsibilities of the Project Engineer include, but are not limited to:
- Lead new design projects through specification reviews, technical analysis, part specification, drawing creation, release to manufacturing, and production readiness review.
- Support first article qualification projects by designing fixtures, and preparing test and engineering reports.
- Provide engineering support for quote requests, including part cross-referencing and technical detail review with customers or customer service representatives.
- Engage in customer interactions to discuss design modifications, new programs, engineering reviews, failure analysis, and manufacturing capabilities.
- Collaborate consistently with skilled trades throughout the production process.

Profile
The successful Project Engineer will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor of Masters degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant industry experience, ideally with a background in the electronics or defense manufacturing space
- Strong engineering acumen with practical, hands-on skills.
- Understand the safety practices with thermal, electrical and test environments
- Knowledge of ISO 9001
- Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar CAD program (Solidworks preferred)
- Experience with manufacturing quality and reliability tools such as Six Sigma and FMEA
