APM - Multifamily Builder/Developer-Tysons VA
My client is looking for an experienced Assistant Project Manager in Tysons,VA for a new construction, suburban mid-rise apartment development consisting of 400+ units
The Assistant Project Manager will assist the Project Manager with job start up and project buy-out, subcontract administration, interpretation of drawings, implementation of QA procedures, and resolution of daily field issues, among other duties.

Description
- Assist the Project Manager with job start up and project buy-out, subcontract administration, interpretation of drawings, implementation of QA procedures, and resolution of daily field issues, among other duties.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager with project start-up, buy-out, and ongoing project management.
- Manage subcontractor coordination, administration, and performance.
- Interpret construction drawings and implement quality assurance procedures.
- Resolve daily on-site issues and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and work plans using Procore software.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project milestones are met, including buy-out, top-out, first turn, and project close-out.
- Support safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safety and accountability on-site.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 4+ years of multi-family and/or commercial building experience.
- Experience with a developer or construction management firm is perferred
- Proficiency in Procore project management software.
- Strong understanding of multifamily residential construction, specifically mixed-use or high-density projects.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
