We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in CNC machining to join our team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring precision, and driving efficiency in the production of high-quality firearm components.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Design and Optimization:

    • Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to ensure the highest levels of quality and efficiency.
    • Optimize CNC machining processes for firearm components, including setup, tooling, and programming.
  • Technical Expertise:

    • Program, troubleshoot, and optimize CNC machines (e.g., mills, lathes, multi-axis) to achieve precise tolerances.
    • Develop and maintain CNC programs using CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks).
    • Specify tooling, fixtures, and equipment required for efficient production.
  • Quality Assurance:

    • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure all products meet stringent quality standards.
    • Perform root cause analysis and corrective action for production issues related to machining processes.
  • Project Management:

    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, such as lean manufacturing and Six Sigma projects, to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality, to ensure seamless integration of new products into manufacturing.
  • Documentation and Compliance:

    • Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs).
    • Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the firearms or precision machining industry.
  • Proficiency in CNC programming and machining, with hands-on experience in operating and optimizing CNC machines.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and precision measurement tools.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks).
  • Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Offer
