Industrial - Tooling Manager - Leominster, MA
The Tooling Manager will oversee the maintenance and documentation of all tools (molds), identify and resolve tooling issues, and supervise Mold Technicians while coordinating daily activities. They will work closely with production and senior management to ensure smooth, continuous operations.

Description
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with outside vendors for repairs, maintenance, and new tooling.
- Initiate work orders for mold repairs or alterations.
- Oversee Mold Technicians to ensure safety, quality, and productivity.
- Collaborate with Customers and Sales to develop new products and projects.
- Establish tooling requirements and initiate requisitions for new tools.
- Test new molds and implement necessary changes or alterations.
- Work with Quality, Maintenance, and Shift Supervisors to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
- Participate in mold design reviews and provide feedback.
- Assist in training Mold Technician personnel.
- Ensure all necessary records, data, and reports are maintained.
- Take on special projects as assigned.
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- 3+ years of Mold Making or Tooling experience, with 3 years of CAD experience.
- Basic computer skills (Word/Outlook/Excel) and familiarity with ERP software.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, multi-task, and be detail-oriented.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to machinery issues to restore functionality.
- Must be able to travel occasionally and possess a valid driver's license.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language is required.
