Description
The Interior Superintendent - Office & Healthcare Projects will be responsible for:
- Overseeing daily on-site operations for interior construction projects
- Managing subcontractors, vendors, and field staff to ensure quality and efficiency
- Maintaining project schedules and resolving delays proactively
- Enforcing OSHA standards, safety policies, and jobsite cleanliness
- Coordinating with Project Managers, clients, and design teams to resolve issues
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and compliance
- Conducting site meetings and walkthroughs to monitor progress and workmanship
- Tracking milestones, inspections, and punch lists for timely completion
- Managing material deliveries, storage, and inventory for interiors projects
- Utilizing Procore and MS Office for reporting and document control
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships on-site
- Delivering high-quality finishes with strong attention to detail
- Leading closeout processes including inspections, warranties, and turnover packages
Profile
The Interior Superintendent - Office & Healthcare Projects will have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent, preferably in interior fit-out or healthcare/office projects
- Proven track record managing projects valued $300K-$3M+
- Strong knowledge of tenant interiors construction methods, materials, and finishes
- OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office and Procore (or similar project management software)
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Excellent communication and leadership skills for managing subcontractors and site staff
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to enforcing jobsite safety, quality, and compliance standards
- Ability to manage one project at a time from start to finish with tight turnovers (6-16 weeks)
- Experience coordinating inspections, punch lists, and project closeouts
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to occasionally work nights or weekends, with additional compensation provided
