Senior Accountant

Our client, an AM Top 200 Law firm based in Manhattan, is seeking an experienced Sr. Accountant. This is a temp role, and the successful candidate will have 5+ years of accounting experience including balance sheet and month-end close, and be immediately available to start a new role.

Client Details

AM Top 200 Law firm based in Manhattan. This role is 3 days per week in office with 2 from home, and offers an individual with balance sheet, month-close & reconciliation experience a chance to provide support on a collaborative team at a major firm.

Description

This role will involve:

• Balance sheets
• Month-end close
• Journal entries
• Bank Reconciliation clean-up

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• 5+ years of accounting experience including experience with Balance sheets, month end close, journal entries, clean up bank recs.
• Bachelors' Degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Experience working in a high-volume environment, performing hands-on accounting work, and strong proficiency in Excel are essential.
• A tech-savvy individual who can adapt quickly to systems like Aderant would be ideal.
