Production Supervisor
The Production Supervisor will oversee daily operations within the engineering and manufacturing department, ensuring the efficient and safe production of high-quality food products. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage teams in a fast-paced business services environment.

Description
- Lead and coordinate daily production activities to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency across the shift
- Spend 80% of your time on the production floor, driving performance and solving problems in real time
- Monitor production metrics and report progress to leadership
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and regulatory standards
- Train and coach team members on SOPs, safety, and operational excellence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, maintenance, and logistics
- Support hiring, performance reviews, and employee relations
- Maintain equipment readiness and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Help drive continuous improvement initiatives and support the transition to a new facility
Profile
- 3+ years of experience in a food manufacturing environment (pet food or related preferred)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop hourly teams
- Comfortable working exteme temperatures and wet environments around food processing equipment
- Solid understanding of GMP, safety protocols, and production workflows
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, MRP systems)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- CPR/First Aid certification (can be obtained post-hire)
