Great opportunity to join a household name, manufacturing organization as a Corporate Accountant! Reporting into the Corporate Accounting Manager, this individual will be working with all 10 business segments within the organization to help provide overall direction from an accounting perspective, participate in the month-end close process, and spearhead the company's intercompany reconciliation process.

This person will join the Accounting Department as a Corporate Accountant, helping take full control and responsibility over all 10 business segments across the organization!

Description

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with external audits, tax filings, and other financial compliance requirements.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and automation within the accounting function.
• Oversee the organizations intercompany accounting processes, including managing intercompany transactions, policies and communication, and company-wide reconciliation of intercompany account activity for month-end close.
• Perform month-end balance sheet reconciliation including intercompany receivable/payable

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
• CPA would be highly advantageous
• 2+ years of experience in public accounting preferred
• Manufacturing industry/clientele experience is a plus
• Ability to communicate with employees globally, clearly, and precisely
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, collaboration, and presentation skills
• Strong Microsoft Excel Skills
• SAP experience a plus
