Estimator

We are seeking an Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial and industrial construction projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of construction costs and materials.

Description

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to develop cost estimates.

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns for materials, labor, and equipment.

• Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to refine project costs.

• Ensure estimates align with budgetary constraints and client expectations.

• Identify potential cost savings and risk factors in project proposals.

• Maintain a database of historical cost data to improve estimating accuracy.

Profile

• 6+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in commercial or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost structures.
• Proficiency in estimating software, such as Bluebeam, ProEst, or similar tools.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
