Description
- Evaluate equipment, tools, and robotic devices; initiate corrective actions for deficiencies.
- Use factory data to implement statistical process control and reporting solutions.
- Provide feedback to design teams on manufacturability and specification requirements.
- Support new product introductions with technical design, drawings, and prototype development.
- Design, develop, and test electrical components and machinery.
- Improve manufacturing processes, including setup/startup of new flow lines and time studies.
- Justify, install, and start up new equipment; upgrade existing equipment as needed.
- Inspect and test manufactured products for compliance.
- Review BOMs for accuracy and maintain production records.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure compliance with standards (IPC-620, J-Standard, AS9100, ISO).
- Train staff on best practices and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot assembly and equipment issues during production.
- Assist with internal and external audits and maintain logs.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience in electronics or manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of lean principles, Six Sigma, and process optimization.
- Strong technical skills in equipment troubleshooting and workflow design.
- Ability to analyze data and implement improvements.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
