Specializing in large-scale multifamily projects, their developments typically feature 150+ units and include both market-rate and affordable housing. With an impressive portfolio of 5,500 units and another 1,000 currently in development, they continue to build a strong reputation for professionalism and excellence. As the company grows, they are looking for a Project Manager to join their team and help drive their continued success.
Description
The Project Manager - Multifamily Development Firm - MD will be responsible for:
- Project Leadership and Management: Oversee all phases of large multifamily construction projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring project goals are met and deadlines are adhered to.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Coordinate with the VP of Construction and Project Coordinator to ensure efficient collaboration and smooth project execution.
- Site Visits: Travel to project sites in North Carolina 1-2 times per month, including managing a 150+ unit development near Raleigh, NC, expected to be completed by May 2025.
- Team Guidance: Lead and mentor project coordinators, subcontractors, and team members to ensure efficient processes and high-quality results.
- Regulatory and Quality Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Profile
The Project Manager - Multifamily Development Firm - MD will have:
- At least 8 years of project management experience, with a focus on ground-up construction of multifamily housing.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale multifamily development projects (150+ units).
- Capable of leading and mentoring team members while effectively coordinating with senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Experience in development, general contracting, or both is highly desirable.
- Must be open to traveling to project sites in North Carolina 1-2 times per month.
Job Offer
The Project Manager - Multifamily Development Firm - MD will receive:
- Base Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 (commensurate with experience)
