We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting and finance, and specific experience within AR/AP and with an exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Description

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage a team focused on AR/AP
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for periodic audits.
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
• Streamline accounting functions and operations.
• Provide insightful information to senior management to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

Profile

A successful Senior Accountant should have:

• An undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
