Superintendent - General Contractor - Washington DC
We are seeking a Superintendent with substantial experience in the construction industry, particularly in educational/K-12.
Client Details
Our client has been a leader in the construction industry for almost 20 years, and have doubled in size in recent years. They are headquartered in Washington, DC, with additional offices across Maryland. They are dedicated to projects that add value and give back to the community, specifically in education (primarily K-12), commercial, affordable housing, capital improvement, and private projects.
Description
- Ensuring the timely completion of a variety of projects, including base buildings, tenant fit-outs, and building renovations.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Management team from the project's inception to its completion.
- Supervising labor and subcontractors
- Coordinating activities
- Scheduling
- Purchasing
- Ensuring safety
- Maintaining quality control
- Managing client relations.
Profile
- Minimum of 5 years as a Superintendent.
- Proven track record in Healthcare, Affordable Housing, Recreation, Higher Education, K-12, Library, Multifamily, and Office projects.
- Must have managed projects in the $20-40 million range.
- OSHA 30 certification is required.
- Must have experience handling subcontractors.
- Responsible for running the project from start to finish.
