Financial Institution Consultant

This job is 5 DAYS IN THE OFFICE. We are seeking a knowledgeable Financial Institution Consultant to join a fast-paced environment within the financial services industry. This temporary role in New York focuses on providing key legal support within the Fixed Income Division.

Description

• Provide legal expertise and support to the financial team.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents and agreements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
• Offer guidance on legal risks and strategies to mitigate them effectively.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address legal issues and provide solutions.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to financial services regulations.
• Support the team with ad hoc legal projects and tasks as needed.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of legal matters.

Profile

A successful Consultant should have:

• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (read, write, speak)
• A solid educational background in law or a related field.
• Experience in the financial services industry or similar sectors.
• Proficiency in legal research and drafting of documents.
• Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
