Quality Manager- Defense- Sharon, Ma
The Quality Manager will oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Globe's quality program, ensuring adherence to internal and customer-defined standards. This role includes managing a team of quality control technicians, developing company-wide quality policies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards across all operations.

Description
Manage and implement QA program across all departments in compliance with ISO 9001:2015.
Oversee key quality areas: policy development, contract review, project execution, document control, procurement, inspections, corrective actions, and quality records.
Develop and enforce inspection, testing, and hazard analysis standards, and monitor critical control points.
Collaborate with operations and engineering to optimize systems and processes for quality and delivery.
Prepare quality documentation and reports using statistical process control methods.
Lead continuous improvement through audits, addressing customer complaints, and refining product designs, manufacturing, and training.
Manage department resources, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Meet financial objectives, preparing budgets and analyzing quality-related variances.
Ensure compliance with government and industry quality control standards.
Oversee record retention processes and provide mentorship to enhance quality ownership across the organization.
Profile
Strong problem-solving skills using methods like 8-D
Familiar with AIAG requirements: PPAP, PFMEA, APQP, SPC, MSA
Bachelor's degree required (Engineering preferred)
5+ years of experience in design and production, focusing on quality control
Proven experience with ISO QA standards
Lean manufacturing experience preferred
ISO Internal Auditor certification
Experience with source inspection for government/military contracts (preferred)
Instron-type testing equipment experience (highly desirable)
Must be eligible for DoD security clearance
