Description
The Superintendent will be a key player in the management and execution of large-scale public sector construction projects. This position involves overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring that deadlines, quality, and safety standards are met while managing teams and resources effectively.
The Superintendent- Reputable General Contractor - Raleigh will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing construction projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and budgets
- Overseeing day-to-day operations, scheduling, and resource management
- Supervising and mentoring project teams to ensure efficient collaboration and high performance
- Monitoring project timelines and costs, ensuring milestones are met and projects stay within budget
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors
Profile
The ideal Superintendent candidate will have extensive experience in managing large public sector projects, particularly in healthcare, K12, or higher education. The ability to lead teams, ensure high-quality construction, and manage multi-million dollar budgets will be critical to success in this role.
Key qualifications for Superintendent - Reputable General Contractor - Raleigh include:
- 8+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on public sector projects
- Proven experience managing projects valued at $10M or more
- Familiarity with construction in healthcare, K12, and higher education sectors
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide teams and maintain effective communication
