Assistant Project Manager- Commercial Construction
The Assistant Project Manager will support the delivery of commercial construction projects throughout South Florida, assisting with scheduling, budgeting, and coordination from preconstruction through closeout. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented construction professional looking to grow with an established general contractor.

Description
Assist the Project Manager with planning, scheduling, and execution of commercial construction projects
Support budget tracking, change orders, subcontractor buyout, and cost control
Coordinate RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and project documentation
Work closely with superintendents to ensure schedules, quality, and safety standards are met
Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and consultants
Participate in project meetings and assist with closeout documentation
Profile
5+ years of experience supporting commercial construction projects in South Florida
Experience with office, retail, restaurant, or similar commercial projects
Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, and specifications
Proficient with project management software (Procore experience preferred)
Organized, proactive, and eager to grow into a Project Manager role
Local market knowledge and experience working with South Florida subcontractors
