Assistant Project Manager- Commercial Construction
Our client is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of ground-up and interior commercial construction projects across South Florida. This role offers hands-on exposure to office, retail, and restaurant projects while working alongside experienced Project Managers.

Description
Assist the Project Manager with day-to-day management of commercial construction projects
Support budgeting, cost tracking, change orders, and contract administration
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to maintain schedules and quality standards
Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and project documentation
Attend project meetings and assist with reporting on schedule, cost, and progress
Help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
Profile
2-5 years of experience in commercial construction as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer
Proven exposure to office, retail, and/or restaurant construction projects
Strong understanding of construction documents, scheduling, and cost controls
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Proficient with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar)
Local South Florida experience is a strong plus
