Multifamily Superintendent - Raleigh, NC

The Superintendent will lead large‑scale multifamily or mixed‑use residential projects, often high‑rise or podium construction, in dense urban environments. This role is suited for a Superintendent who thrives on technically challenging builds, detailed coordination, and leading strong field teams through complex schedules and logistics. Projects are well‑staffed, allowing focus on leadership, execution, and quality rather than being stretched thin.

Description

  • Supervise all phases of multifamily construction projects from start to finish.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards on all job sites.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to maintain project schedules.
  • Monitor project budgets and control costs effectively.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Resolve any on-site issues or delays promptly.
  • Collaborate with project managers and design teams to meet project goals.

Profile

A successful Multifamily Superintendent should have:

  • 8-15+ years of experience as a Superintendent on multifamily or mixed‑use projects.
  • Experience with high‑rise, podium, or large urban residential construction strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage complex schedules, multiple trades, and constrained job sites.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Professional, detail‑oriented, and quality‑driven mindset.
  • Comfortable working in fast‑paced environments with high client expectations.
  • Willingness to work in East Coast markets as project needs require.
