Client Details
Commercial General Contractor is looking for a Lead Superintendent to run large-scale ground up projects in Central/Western MA!
Ideally 15+ years of experience, just had 4 supers retire - looking asap
Focus on ground up building, have completed over 1000 projects in MA & pride themselves on repeat business, having built 30+ buildings for some clients
The work is very diverse - includes commercial, manufacturing, multifamily, automotive, and industrial buildings*Apply online today and your resume will be considered within 48 hours of application*
Description
- Leading multimillion $ ground up building projects
- Reporting into the General Superintendent
- Commutable to Central/Western MA
- Supervising construction efforts
- Overseeing all daily field operations
- Participating in the development and review of scope, buy-out, and schedule
- Creating and maintaining site logistics plan
- Researching & reviewing to avoid project delays, ensure safety & client satisfaction
- Developing and building relationships with sub-contractors, architects, engineers, owners, etc.
Profile
- Ideally 10-15+ years of experience as a site super for a general contractor
- Experience leading large ground up commercial projects is a must
- Must be familiar with site work and have a working knowledge of the trades
- Strong leadership and client service skills
- Excellent verbal & written communication, negotiation, time management/organization, and problem-solving skills
- A good understanding of construction means, methods and techniques
- The ability to read and interpret plans, specifications and other contract documents
- Proficiency with Procore
