Manufacturing Engineer - Medical Device - Hudson, NH
The Manufacturing Engineer will sit on a small team reporting into the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. In this role you will get to work autonomously, wearing many hats, supporting the manufacturing of surgical medical devices.

Description
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for:
SolidWorks Expertise:
- Model new and existing parts in SolidWorks.
- Create step-by-step visual assembly drawings aligned with this company's style and methodologies
Manufacturing Support:
- Work hands-on with small shop machines such as mills, drill presses, and jeweler's lathes.
- Design and create fixtures and prototypes as needed.
- Read and detail mechanical drawings accurately.
Process Creation and Integration:
- Develop and introduce new products into production.
- Create and improve manufacturing processes, integrating production personnel in development efforts.
Testing and Reporting:
- Write and execute test protocols and analyze results through test reports.
- Conduct practical analysis of test outcomes.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Process and manage change orders in compliance with MDSAP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements (training provided).
Profile
The successful Manufacturing Engineer will have the following background:
- 5+ years of experience in the Medical Device industry or another highly regulated environment
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering disciple
- Strong background with Solidworks for assembling drawings and modeling
- Familiarity with shop machines such as small mills, drill presses, lathes, etc.
- Experience with new production introduction and creating processes on the manufacturing floor
- Experience writing and executing test protocols
- Experience working hands-on in a highly regulated environment
