Vice President of Preconstruction
Michael Page is working with a well known Design Build Firm, who is seeking a Vice President of Preconstruction to add to their growing team. They are a smaller firm who are looking for a Director to take on the challenge of growing the business in both new projects and markets. Client Details
Our client is a respected Design Build firm, who is strategically looking to grow in 2026. They are looking to add someone who can lead them in this growth. They have a strong background commercial projects to include health care or medical office, and are expanding into academic and hospitality.
Description
The VP of Preconstruction has the following duties:
- Prepare accurate estimates
- Procure and assess an adequate number of subcontractor proposals to complete estimates
- Prepare and develop detailed scope documents
- Attend project walk-throughs, must be willing to travel to sites within the Northeast (travel expense compensation provided)
- Participate in industry related networking events and organizations
Profile
The ideal candidate for Director of Preconstruction will have the following qualifications:
- 8-15 Years of industry experience in preconstruction
- Commercial construction and design-build experience
- Personal Subcontractor and Vendor network developed over industry career
- Experience in warehousing and industrial work
- Hospitality, academic work is a plus
