AVP, Vulnerability Management Specialist
The AVP, Vulnerability Management Specialist is responsible for identifying, assessing, and remediating security vulnerabilities across cloud and on-prem environments to protect infrastructure. This hands-on role involves operating key security controls, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating with IT and security teams to ensure regulatory compliance and a strong security posture.

Client is a Global financial market infrastructure provider specializing in multicurrency cash settlement for foreign exchange transactions.
Description
Conduct regular vulnerability scans using tools like Qualys or Nessus to identify and assess security risks across systems.
Analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities based on impact, coordinating with IT teams to implement timely remediation.
Operate and manage core security tools such as SIEM, DLP, endpoint protection, and threat intelligence platforms.
Perform security risk assessments for high-impact projects and recommend appropriate controls to mitigate identified risks.
Maintain clear documentation and reporting on vulnerabilities, remediation status, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Profile
Has hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools and processes in both cloud and on-prem environments.
Possesses strong technical knowledge of security controls, including SIEM, DLP, EDR, and network protection tools.
Demonstrates the ability to assess risk, prioritize threats, and drive remediation efforts in collaboration with IT teams.
Holds relevant certifications such as CISSP or GIAC (GCIH, GCIA, GSEC) and stays current on cybersecurity trends and frameworks.
Communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with strong documentation and reporting skills.
Job Offer
The role offers a base salary range of $105,000 to $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications. It also includes a performance-based annual bonus, along with a comprehensive benefits package featuring medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) with company match, generous paid time off, and professional development support.
