Estimator Miami, FL
- Construction Estimator with 10+ years of experience in the multifamily, hospitality, or office high rise sectors
- Experience with conceptual estimates, all 16 divisions, and GMP contract models.
Client Details
This reputable general contractor that is local to Miami, FL and headquartered in New York has a large pipeline of work throughout the South Florida market. They work in the Multifamily, Hospitality, and Office sectors, building luxury mid-high rise buildings from the ground up. They are seeking a highly qualified Estimator with at least 10 years of experience in estimates to join their growing team here in Miami.
Description
Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and detailed estimates from conceptual design through final GMP
Perform full-spectrum estimating across all 16 divisions, including MEPs and basic trades
Engage in value engineering, scope analysis, bid leveling, and procurement strategy
Collaborate with project management, operations, and preconstruction teams to align on project goals and budget targets
Participate in client presentations and estimate reviews
Assist in developing standard estimating tools and templates as part of the expanding Florida team
Profile
10+ years of experience in construction estimating
Proven experience with GMPs, conceptual estimating, and value engineering
Broad estimating experience across all divisions (1-16), including MEP trades
Strong project exposure in office, hotel, mixed-use, and multifamily residential sectors
Must provide a sample budget (non-proprietary) to validate estimating capabilities - required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture (required)
Strong technical knowledge and ability to read/interpret architectural and engineering drawings
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence
