This role manages commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, overseeing schedule, budget, quality, and team performance. You'll work closely with senior leadership on large-scale, technically complex projects across multiple market sectors.

Description

The Project Manager - Base Building - Herndon, VA will be responsible for:

• Manage large‑scale base building projects from preconstruction through completion
• Lead project planning, budgeting, cost control, and schedule management
• Coordinate with owners, design teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
• Oversee mission‑critical and industrial construction activities, ensuring quality and safety standards are met
• Manage subcontractor buyout, scope alignment, and change management
• Provide leadership to project teams and mentor junior staff
• Maintain accurate project reporting, forecasting, and documentation
• Identify risks and proactively implement solutions to keep projects on track

Profile

A successful Project Manager - Base Building - Herndon, VA should have:

• 5-10 years of experience in commercial construction
• Experience in a Project Manager role for at least 1-2 years
• Strong background managing large‑scale base building projects
• Mission‑critical/data center experience strongly preferred
• Industrial, warehouse, or tilt‑wall experience will also be considered
