Manufacturing Supervisor - Aerospace - Lowell, MA
This role is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations and supervising a unionized production team in a heavy industrial environment. The position plays a critical role in workforce leadership, production execution, ERP coordination, and driving performance against safety, quality, and delivery metrics.

Description
The Manufacturing Supervisor will manage day-to-day shop floor operations, leading a team of skilled production employees while ensuring schedule adherence, labor efficiency, and compliance with quality and safety standards. This role works closely with operations leadership, materials, and scheduling to drive performance and continuous improvement.
- Lead and supervise daily manufacturing activities for a unionized workforce.
- Manage labor planning, time and attendance, overtime, and performance reviews.
- Monitor ERP/MRP systems, release work to the floor, and track KPIs.
Profile
The successful candidate is a hands-on manufacturing leader with experience managing hourly teams in a unionized, industrial environment. They are comfortable balancing people leadership, production execution, and data-driven decision-making.
- 5+ years supervising manufacturing teams in machining or heavy industry.
- Experience working within corporate quality systems and union environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead at all levels.
