Description
Key Responsibilities of a Healthcare/Education Construction Project Manager - Sacramento
- Communication and Coordination: responsible for facilitating communication between team members, architects, designers, and engineers
- Documentation and Reporting: manage project documentation which includes project plans, requirements, specifications, and RFIs
- Risk Management: contributing to identifying and assessing project risk, and developing risk mitigation strategies
- Bid Leveling: help evaluate bid opportunities to determine their suitability, feasibility, and alignment
- Takeoffs; Cost Estimation: from time to time may be responsible to quantify and estimate the quantities of materials needed for the project
- Pre-Con: collaborate in executing the pre-construction phase of a project with the team
- Design Phase: working with architects and engineers to refine the conceptual design of the drawings
Profile
A Successful Healthcare/Education Construction Project Manager - Sacramento
- 5+ years with relevant experience in construction
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as project management, business administration, engineering, and/or construction management
- Experience in coordinating project activities , assisting the Director of Construction or Senior Project Manager
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple projects and their tasks, milestones and deliverables
- Proficiency in construction management software, such as Procore
