Legal Secretary (West Hartford)
This role requires managing all legal administrative work, handling client communications, scheduling, and document preparation while anticipating and solving potential issues. The role also requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Description
- Manage a high volume of client emails and communications promptly and professionally.
- Schedule appointments, prepare for client meetings, and coordinate Notary Public services for client signings.
- Draft, transcribe, and proof correspondence and client documents with great attention to detail.
- Accurately enter attorney time daily and assist with monthly billing processes.
- Monitor and maintain calendars to ensure deadlines and appointments are met.
- Manage special projects and maintain client and referral contact information.
- Collaborate effectively with office support staff and be available to work overtime as needed.
Profile
- Holds a high school diploma or GED; a degree in business administration and Trust & Estate experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and willing to learn legal software such as Aderant or Time
- Expert.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
- Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities independently under pressure.
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, able to multitask effectively.
Job Offer
The position offers a salary range of $50,000 to $70,000 depending on experience, a competitive benefits package, eligibility for overtime, 25 days of paid time off, and a 35-hour work week.
